The Hisayama Study links diabetes with all-cause dementia, alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia
On September 20, 2011, a 15-year study of over 1000 community-dwelling elderly was published in Neurology. The study demonstrated that people with diabetes were at significantly increased risk of all-cause dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease and vascular dementia.
